简介

　　PowerPC 是由被称作AIM联盟的Apple-IBM-Motorola创造的精简指令集计算机微处理器架构。PowerPC是整个AIM平台的一部分，并且是到目前为止唯一的一部分。 PowerPC 的历史可以追溯到早在1990年随RISC System/6000一起被介绍的IBM 的 POWER 架构。该设计是从早期的RISC处理器比如IBM 801，MIPS架构处得到灵感的。
